Dr. Saneya Pandrowala is a highly accomplished Surgical Oncologist with over a decade of experience, specializing in Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) and Gynaecological oncology. Renowned for her expertise in managing complex cancers of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, colon, rectum, ovarian, uterine and cervix she combines surgical precision with academic rigor to advance the field of cancer care.

A graduate of Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Dr. Pandrowala went on to earn her MCh in Surgical Oncology (Gold Medalist) from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Asia’s leading cancer center. She further deepened her focus through a dedicated HPB oncology fellowship at Tata and was awarded the DrNB in Surgical Oncology by the National Board of Examinations.

Her clinical and research interests span pancreatic adenocarcinoma, gallbladder carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal carcinoma and retroperitoneal sarcomas. She has contributed extensively to global oncology literature, with publications in leading journals such as HPB, World Journal of Surgery, J Gastrointestinal Cancer, and Langenbeck’s Archives of Surgery. She also serves as an NCCN framework reviewer for pancreatic adenocarcinoma (v1.2024), underscoring her role as an international thought leader in oncology.

Currently, Dr. Pandrowala practices as a Consultant in Surgical Oncology (GI & HPB Services) at KIMS Hospital, Thane. She was recently elected as the Asia-Pacific Representative (2024–2026) for the IHPBA Early Career Group and serves on the IHPBA Education & Training Committee, actively shaping global surgical oncology education.

Her work has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Geeta Rao Memorial Prize in General Surgery, R.S. Rao Gold Medal in Surgical Oncology, the ASI Lata Mittal Travelling Fellowship to the USA, and numerous national conference awards. As a sought-after speaker, she has delivered lectures and shared her expertise at prestigious forums such as the IHPBA World Congress (New York & Cape Town), APHPBA (Bangalore), Nanjing Campus (China), Apollo Cancer Conclave, BALCO Cancer Conclave and many more.
